TYPE
 Single-chine plywood/epoxy power sharpie cruiser; inboard diesel power, 75 to 120 HP.  Hull will semi-plane with moderate power on flat water, providing excellent efficiency for cruising at moderate speeds with very low fuel consumption.
CONSTRUCTION
 Cold-molded plywood / epoxy covered with epoxy-impregnated polyester cloth. Bottom double-diagonal 3/4"; sides one layer 1"; decks 1/2"; cabin sides and coachroofs ply/foam-core sandwich.
PLANS
 Full construction plans are $950, which include THE SHARPIE BOOK, construction notes and construction details. The hull is built around her bulkheads, greatly simplifying lofting and construction.
CAPACITIES
 Fuel: 290gal. (aluminum tank centered). Water: 335 gal. Cruising speed is 8 to 12 knots. Projected fuel consumption at 10 knots is 2.5 GPH.
OPTIONS
 The Commuter 50 can also be built as a motorsailer, as custom design work. Please write or call us for further information.
