TYPE
Single-chine plywood power cruiser; single Inboard diesel; diesel/electric optional. The vessel is intended for semi-protected waters and coastal waters with trips to Cuba and the Bahamas possible during calm weather. The vessel is light, narrow and easily driven, making her both fast and fuel-efficient. Cruising speed is 12kts burning 2 gallons per hour; top speed is 16kts.
POWER
Shown with Yanmar 4JH3-DTE turbo diesels (86hp continuous).
CONSTRUCTION
Cold-molded plywood/epoxy covered with epoxy-impregnated polyester cloth. The hull is built around longitudinals spanning ½” ply bulkheads, greatly simplifying lofting and construction. Bottom: double-diagonal 5/8” Ply; sides: one layer 3/4”; decks: foam-core/ply sandwich; twin 3/8” ply web frames fore & aft. Cockpit and lockers are self-draining.
PLANS 
Full construction plans include THE SHARPIE BOOK, construction notes and construction details. As the hull is built around her bulkheads, large-scale bulkhead drawings are included with the plans. An illustrated manual is included.
